Full description
I asked if Lucien could keep his ears straight and level, as this would look the best on the pebble shape I had chosen for him. He said he counted cloud-types in his head and this helped him concentrate.
Lucien is hand-painted with a tiny brush on to a pebble, with added detail in fine pen. The brooch is varnished and securely attached to the safety pin with ribbon and material. Lucien is certainly splash-proof, but perhaps best not to wear him whilst swimming!
The pebble is approximately 30mm x 20mm and is also pictured next to a penny.
