Full description

A Long version of this popular gardening item, hand turned in Lake District Ash

Very easy to use - just tear off strips of newspaper and coil round the body, press into the recess in the bottom, then jiggle around on the base, slide your pot off the potter and fill with compost seed/seedling and keep moist - once the roots start to come through, it's time to plant out - the newspaper will compost into the soil.

Fill to the lower black line for a regular 45mm dia pot and to the top shoulder for a Loo roll tube size pot, ideal for Beans/Peas etc.

Not boxed, just nicely presented in a 'zip-lok' bag with full laminated instructions - makes an ideal gift !

(Please note: The photo currently shows a potter in Oak, Ash is a lighter coloured wood and very durable - traditionally used for making spade and fork handles.)
