This was inspired by another of my paintings, of a school of fish, called Go Fish! I incorporated the swarm of fish into the mermaid's hair. The mermaid herself is loosely based on the Inuit folktale of the sea goddess, Sedna.

Full description
Print of my original mixed media artwork, 'Mermaid'. The original painting was painted on canvas using acrylic & metallic paints, finished with a pearl bead. For the print, you have a choice of either the ivory or green pearl - please message me when you purchase this print to let me know which one you would prefer.
Printed on 240g HP premium photo paper with HP photo quality, fade resistant ink. Size A4 (8.3" x 11.7"), will be printed as borderless print unless otherwise specified (message me if you need a border for framing purposes). While every effort is made to match the colours as closely as possible to the screen image, some variation in print colour is inevitable; thank you for your understanding.
Packaged in acid-free cellophane sleeve and sent in card-back envelope, sent first class within the UK and via Air Mail to the rest of the world.
Signed and dated on back by artist (signature on listing image will not appear on print front unless specified).
