Full description
Pair of stained wooden hairsticks topped with an ice blue faceted glass bead and small blue crackle stone with silver coloured findings. The colour of these beads reminded me of how a glacier can appear blue in colour due to a combination of a hexagonal ice crystal structure and many tiny air bubbles trapped as the glacial snow compacts into ice over years. All parts of the colour spectrum are absorbed until only blue is reflected.
The hair sticks have been hand finished and treated with Tung Oil and polished with beeswax.
