I'm inspired by wonderful product that have that 'special something' .
The Owls are made from a durable semi porcelain body.
After many test and experiments I succeeded in
producing a wonderful semi matt rustic glaze in
green and a mustard yellow.
I love English slip trailing and so I have made the eyes
using these traditional techniques making each
owl unique.
I hope you enjoy them.

Retro ceramic Owl Salt & Pepper.
Inspired by the Owls that were made at Hornsea pottery and designed by John Clappison who I used to work and design with at Hornsea.
The Owls eyes are all hand decorated with small slip trailed dots.
Please note that because of the unique and traditional
decorating techniques used you might find some small
variation between each owl

box.
