Full description

This is NOT a toy, only for ages over 15.

This is a kit to build your own Beep Poet 2.

It consists of a kit of parts and a CD-R full of detailed instructions and photos which will show you how to build the noise maker step by step.

You will need the following tools and parts to build the Beep Poet 2 circuit:

An empty tin can of the ring pull type, a drill, a 4mm drill bit, a 1.5mm drill bit, a fine

tipped soldering iron, some solder, side cutters, some insulation tape, some fine sand

paper, wire strippers and a suitable amp for testing. A helping hands type device will

help you keep the circuit from moving around. Also a wide tipped soldering iron is

useful for getting rid of any solder bridges between track of strip board if your

soldering is less than perfect.

You will need the following extra tools and parts for mounting the circuit onto its

can:

A dot punch or sharp nail/screw, an 8mm drill bit, a metal file, some

plyers and a small pozidrive screw driver.

The Beep Poet 2 is a battery powered noise maker in a can. Its great for making sound effects and silly noises.

The Beep Poet 2 is powered by a single 9v battery (not supplied) which can be installed by removing the nut around the 1/4 socket and removing the base.

Its mounted in a recycled tin can. It is also supplied with an instruction CDR.
