I love silk and I love using it to make beautiful items. This beautiful handbag called Naomi is no exception. The silk I have used is dark red for the body of the bag and black for the facing. The handles are made from the same dark red as the body of the bag.
The floral embroidery on the front is what sets this bag apart. It has been hand stitched using a variety of threads: wool, wool blend, silk and cotton. There are three beautiful buttons for the flower centres. There is also a large complementary button in the centre of the front black facing.
The bag has been interfaced to give it structure. It has been lined with a Laura Ashley paisley quilted fabric and has an internal pocket. The fastening is a magnetic clasp.
This bag is luxurious – it is special – a one-off unique creation – you won’t find another like it. Treat yourself!
