Inspiration: Did you know that the Raven is the national bird of Bhutan? And that's supposed to be the happiest country. Ravens and crow mythology is widespread but for some reason he appears to have been branded as a trickster or bad omen more often in the west, but I like them. Besides, everyone knows it's the Ravens in the tower of London that keep Britain safe, so they should be ideal guardians for your notes. Love corvids? Me too!
Process: I painted the original crow on the screen and added textures by rubbing. Then printed it onto acetate and made a more durable screen from photosensitive material.

A moleskine hand printed with a lovely raven to guard your secrets. This book is ideal for noting down larger wondrous things and incidences, such as cannot be contained in the pocket books.
This notebook is the perfect size for larger bags and bedside tables for capturing dreams and stories. It never runs out of batteries and is very reliable, though does require hardware (a pen or pencil) to operate effectively.
Also makes a lovely present for the crow or raven lover in your life, because notebooks are always useful, and useful presents are always appreciated. Don't forget to check out the matching print
Size: Hand screen printed by me on a large kraft (brown) Moleskine with plain pages on the inside with all the standard moleskine stuff- 5.25" x 8.25" inches with plain pages, 80 acid free cream pages, the last 16 sheets are detachable, and a pocket in the back.
Materials: Printed with acrylic waterproof inks so your moleskine won't smudge or fade.
Important stuff: My notebooks are hand printed and thus might differ from the photos and contain little quirks than make each and everyone unique. It's a moleskine brand notebook. Some people spell it moleskin.
