This shawl was the outcome of an experiment with textures. I wanted to see how something as soft and fuzzy as hand-spun wool would look contrasted with shiny delicate beads. Luckily it turned out well, because that's a lot of precious hand -spun yarn to waste!

This beautifully soft shawl has been created by Lesley, crocheted in hand spun pure new Shetland wool. It is surprisingly lightweight and warm, ideal for keeping you snug yet stylish for a special occasion or evening out.The gold coloured glass beads individually hand stitched to the edge of the shawl and the brooch make this luxurious shawl something to treasure forever. The corsage style brooch itself has a metal brooch fastener stitched to the back to allow you to arrange and fasten the shawl however you like. Because of the delicate nature of the materials used, we recommend that you cool hand wash and dry naturally.
