50p PER SURVIVAL BRACELET SOLD, WILL BE DONATED TO HELP FOR HEROES!
The paracord (parachute cord) I use for my practical gifts is imported from the US. I've managed to track down the UK military issue which is a little different but still is a strong with a breakage strength of 550lbs (approx 250 kg). The only problem is that so far I've only found it in one colour - dark green!
As with the other survival bracelets that I make, these are made with a continuous strand of paracord of approx. 20ft/6m in length and are designed to be unpicked in case of an emergency. Very useful if your bootlace breaks or your dog lead snaps or for any other situation where a good length of cord will help! In the buckle is a whistle, which although is fairly small, has a very shrill sound which covers a good distance. Is great for calling your dog (and lost husbands on Dartmoor)!
If you like my survival bracelets but prefer to Buy British - this is for you!
You will also be supporting a very worthy charity.
I love knotting ever since I first learnt as a Girl Guide (quite a number of years ago). The British paracord is a little different from the colourful US paracord I often use and I thought it would be a great way to raise funds for our troops!
When you buy this item I will give 50p to the Help for Heroes Charity.
Thank you for your support!
