My Mum, Lesley, made this during her recent cable period. (This has been followed by a sequin period, so watch this space!) We both love our crime dramas of an evening when we're knitting, and since Mum's hands have a mind of their own when she creates something new, it's not surprising that this cape came off the needles reminiscent of the greatest detective himself, Sherlock Holmes.

Full description
This cosy cape with it's soft cables was designed to cover your shoulders and drape gently over your arms and back to keep you lovely and warm. Knitted by Lesley in 100% pure new wool, it has a ribbed collar and a large Mother-of-pearl button. Made to fit a ladies size 10 - 12, the full length measures 68cm from the collar to end around mid thigh.
Because of the wool content, we recommend that you wash at no more than 40 degrees by hand or on a delicate cycle. Gentle rinse and spin and please do not wring, you can cool tumble dry this cape but do not iron.
