I do have plain red; brown and grey narrow stripes; and a variegated light brown version.
My mother's pattern for a cosy neck warmer. My brothers all wore these when they were little. Designed to keep neck, chest and back snug, but without the ends of a scarf flapping in the wind and slapping you in the face. And without the bulk of adding an extra sweater when it is just your neck that needs more warmth. Brilliant.
