I wanted to make handbags that were large enough to carry all the essentials but not so large that things got lost in the bottom. I get quite fed up having to buy different handbags for different occassions and decided to make a basic, plain, model that could jazzed up or toned down by adding different embelishments. By tying a scarf around the handle or adding a brooch or a few beads this bag will compliment any outfit.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Please note - the price does not include the brooch but this is available in my shop and, if purchased together I will not charge postage on the brooch.
This bag was knitted in one complete piece using 100% wool fibre. It was then hand felted to give it its lovely texture and to make it durable and practical.
Measuring approx 30cm in height and 24cm in width it is large enough to carry all those essentials such as keys, phones, purses and all the other bits and bobs we women can't live without.
The pictures show the bag in its basic form and also how it looks with the addition of one of my felted brooches. I haven't included the brooch in the price as you may wish to use your own, or you may wish to embelish the bag in someother way, or prefer it plain. However, my brooches are available - see my shop.
It is handwashable but should be reshaped whilst damp. It could also be machine washed on a cool wool cycle but I would stuff it with tea towels first to prevent the sides felting to each other!
I always post 1st class and within 24 hours. I always obtain proof of posting but if you would prefer it sending Recorded Delivery I am happy to oblige but will need to charge an extra 70p.
