I couldn't bear (no pun) to see this wool languishing in a drawer, so I decided due to the wools warmth and softness it would be better served keeping a little head warm!

As children will wear winter clothing if it is loved. I decided to experiment making something a bit different to the normal run of items. So I adjusted a basic pattern & its styling slightly, to make something I'd love to wear as well as children. I've made it festive lots of sparkle, so it can be worn throughout the winter not just xmas.

There are more reindeers (and other critters)of a similar nature to come. I try to make each an individual, and the pattern is adapted in my head no one else can make another. This helps when collecting from nursery or school, as no-one will have one of these.

Which is why all my young nephews and nieces have a different hat (Even from each other) to aid in identification and prevent them 'walking off' with other children, no one can claim mistaken identity!!!!!
