Full description
Beautiful 'Resting Place' illustration in purple and teal, reproduced as a 41cm x 29cm (approx A3) art print on high quality glossy paper.
When this illustration was created I couldn't decide whether I preferred the background color in yellow or purple so I choose both. This is the purple version which i think has a more wintry feel.
This lovely serene illustration makes a wonderful gift and is perfect for a bedroom, living room or to brighten a work place and lift your mood. Easy to display and frame.
This illustration was created as an original freehand drawing with color and texture digitally added.
How Lucy made this artwork:
1. The stag and birds were drawn free hand in pencil onto white paper.
2. The pencil drawing was traced in black fine-liner onto tracing paper.
3. This image was then scanned onto a computer and the black outline refined.
4. The outline of the tree was then drawn in pencil, then traced and scanned as above.
5. The stag and birds were layered over the tree.
6. Then the color, pattern and texture were added to the stag and birds, then the floral background was created.
SHIPPING: The print will be sent wrapped and inside a poster tube via first class post.
