Two handmade muilk jugs. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
A hand thrown milk jug with a rustic look glazed in rutile and a white and oatmeal milk jug.
Designed with a smooth pouring action this jug features distinctive straight sides, pouring lip and stout pulled handle.
Pulled handles are created by gently pulling on a lump of clay with wet hands to elongate out a piece until it forms a handle shape. The handles are then attached to the thrown body of the pot.
Perfect for either milk or water as part of your early morning breakfast routine. The outside has been smoothed off on the wheel but inside features textural throwing rings. Placing your hand inside the jug you can feel where my hands have pulled the clay upwards during throwing.
This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The speckled jug is just under 5 inches in height and has a diameter of 3.5 inches. The oatmeal jug is 5 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height.
It has been created in a smoke free, pet free home.
