Full description
This fine silver dragonfly pendant has been from silver clay which is the purest form of silver (99.99%), It is environmentally friendly as the silver used has been recycled from the waste of the silver industry.
I formed the dragonfly by hand from silver clay, using a leaf skeleton to imprint the pattern on the wings, I then kiln fired it and aged the silver using a patina, before polishing the raised surfaces so that the beautiful pattern of the veins stand out against the highly polished silver, I then tumbled it to give them strength, durability and a beautiful high shine.
The dragonflies measure 3.4cm from the top of the ring to the tip of the tail and 2.6cm wide across the widest point of its wings, it is sold in a recycled cardboard 'Wild Silver' jewellery box.
Your pendant will be strung on high quality British made 16" sterling silver snake chain, if you would prefer a 18" chain, they are £2 extra, you can purchase the longer chain from a listing in my shop titled 'Upgrade to 18" sterling silver snake chain'.

The pendant pictured above is a sample, all pieces are individually handcrafted and as such may differ very slightly from that pictured.
