Inspiration
I wanted something to protect my bag from my keys, as I found they damaged the lining of my bag. I'd seem something similar several years ago abroad, but could never find it in the UK, so I decided to develop a design that worked. I've sold these over the past year locally, and everyone loves them and now says they wouldn't be without, so I decided to sell them online.

A Cath Kidston fabric key holder / key fob - this would make a unique handmade gift.
These key holder / key cosies are a fabulous addition to your bag, preventing your keys from scratching other items as well as stopping them from damaging the lining of your bags, and making keys easy to find - you'll find it a useful way to store your keys. It's also a handy way to grab and hold your keys, as the felt balls act as a handle.
I've sold a number of these locally over the past couple of years, and everyone finds them incredibly useful. The keys are placed on a split ring which is looped on a waxed cord through the top of the holder and attached to two felted balls. The balls can be used to hold the key holder if you are nipping to the car or the shops, or the whole holder can be placed in your bag - the holder slides down to cover your keys. Each key holder is padded, and they are fully lined. I supply them with a key printed on card to show how they work.
These are perfect and unusual little gifts. I have a variety of fabrics available and have a few listings on Folksy for them.
