I've always loved fabrics. When I was growing up, my elderly neighbours served tea from a teapot that had a gorgeous patchwork cosy. I wanted to make my own version with a selection of bright and colourful fabric prints.

Fancy a patchwork tea cosy? I have available two designs of patchworked tea cosy, both generously padded and perfect for cheering up a pot of tea. Both come with their own special, handmade brooch.
The first cupcake cosy is made from Robert Kaufman fabrics, and I've included the selvedge in the design. With this one, I've added a cupcake brooch, as it seemed to sit on the cosy so well. The back is a cheerful stripe. The cupcake fabric is lovely - it's teamed with a cheerful cherry fabric, and a blue with hundreds and thousands.
The other patchwork cosy is made from a teatime scene fabric, and has a lace embellishment running across the bottom, front and back. The back is a striped fabric. Free with this cosy comes a flower brooch, with hand felted leaves.
Both have a different coloured gingham lining. The cosies fit a standard sized teapot.
