Following a sock shopping trip to Mothercare I came across lots of lovely baby socks in great colour combinations but couldn’t quite think which of my usual creatures they would be best for. So obviously the solution was to make a new design to fit the sock.

Meet Sock Pixie Cyrus...
Cyrus is not just cute to look at, he’s a useful Pixie too! He’s 12cms tall and is made from a new green and white stripey sock. His green face has hand sewn white felt cheeks and purple embroidered features. His foot pads are red felt and his tummy pocket is purple felt.Cyrus wears a red sock hat attached to his head with a small purple pompom at the end and he's stuffed with polyfil.
Because Sock Pixies have a pocket on their tummies they have lots of uses. Here are just a few but you’re sure to have more of your own:
- It's perfect to leave a 'Thank you' message for Santa & Rudolph with their mince pie and carrot - who knows, maybe they'll leave one for you too!
- He could be a 'tooth pixie'
- It could be a pocket money or 'well done' treat pocket
- Or for swapping secret messages with a friend or loved one
- If you have a special tiny gift for someone, an engagement ring for example!
