A lovely bookmark to hold your place in a favourite book.
The charm is made from purple polymer clay with slices of one of my flower canes on top (a cane is a long sausage of clay. When you cut into it you will see lovely patterns, depending on how you have assembled the cane).
The larger charm is roughly 2.3cm x 2.7cm. There is a small purple glass bead at the bottom. There are also two smaller marbled purple polymer clay beads, again with small purple glass beads.
The charms are attached to a silver-plated hook which is approximately 8.5cm long (just under 3.5 inches). This hooks over the spine of the book to hold your place, while the charms hangs on the outside.
The bookmark comes in an attractive organza bag and is carefully packaged, before being posted 1st class (via airmail if outside the UK). I try to reuse envelopes whenever possible.
PLEASE NOTE that polymer clay is not a toy and I do not recommend this item for young children due to small parts. Although polymer clay is perfectly suitable for its intended use, it is not indestructible!
