Full description
This is a simply exquisite ring with the addition of a water casting. The band is made from 1.5mm sterling silver wire which I have hammered. One end of the band has a simple silver nugget, the other end has a water casting; let me explain...
I have brought silver to melting point then poured it into cold water. The resulting shapes are different every time. If lucky (and I was this time), air gets trapped between the molten silver and the water and shapes it into an organic shape. Think rock pools and caves- the perfect ring for your inner mermaid.
The ring has then been oxidised using a boiled egg and polished to reveal the silvery highlights.
It will be posted on the next working day via first class mail, recorded delivery and will arrive in a black gift box.
