This lovely paper bunting has been upcycled from the pages of a discarded copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures from throughout the year.

There are 9 triangular flags, each measuring 21cm long x 17cm across. The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and is not really suitable for use outdoors – well, it IS paper after all!

The bunting has been threaded together with rescued cream wool. If the flags were placed end to end on the wool, the bunting would be 160cm (approx 5ft 3in) long. We’ve included an additional 6m of wool so that you can spread the flags out on the wool – they slide easily on the wool – and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
