Meet Lola the Mini HooterNinnie…
Lola is a very teeny weeny HooterNinnie and is a lot like our lovely woodland hedgehogs but much softer! At just 7cm from nose to bottom she’s small enough to fit in the palm of an adults hand!
She’s been crocheted using the Japanese style, Amigurumi. This method is very neat as it is worked in a spiral - there are no seams, just a hole at the end of each piece that can be stuffed and then sewn closed. Three different yarns have been used - a paleflesh pink for the face, a lilac eyelash yarn and pink and blue ribbon yarn for the body, finished off with a knotted tail. She has black bead eyes, a black felt nose and is stuffed with polyfil.
(not suitable for young children due to tiny bead eyes)
