I spotted this lovely orange wool at a recent craft fair and immediately knew it was going to be just the right colour to make these cute little foxes.

Meet Ferdi and Finn…
These two orange foxes measure 15cms from ears to feet and have been made to my own design. They have been made using the Japanese style of crochet, Amigurumi. This method is very neat as it is worked in a spiral - there are no seams, just a hole at the end of each piece that can be stuffed and then sewn closed.
I’ve used double strands of a flecked orange merino mix wool for the main colour and their faces are a pale grey soft wool mix. They have amber coloured safety eyes and brown hand sewn felt noses. They’re stuffed with polyfil.
