Colourway: Heather
Dusky pink fading to purple - towards the end of August the moors turn purple as the heather flowers.
Yarn: Peaknaze Sock, 75% superwash wool, 25% nylon.
A beautiful yarn with a lovely lustre and feel. It would make a great pair of socks, but would also make lovely shawls and scarves.
Peaknaze Moor is the iconic hill of the Longdendale Valley, distinctive and noticeable as you approach from the West.
100g/430m approx - this amount should be enough for a pair of socks, or a shawlette.
Sock / fingering / 4ply weight yarn - recommended needle size: 2mm - 3mm.
Although this yarn contains superwash wool and will go through the washing machine without felting, I would still recommend handwashing for best results. Dry flat.
