A lovely bookmark to hold your place in a favourite book.
The hearts are made from polymer clay. The larger heart is lilac and measures just over 6cm/about 2.5 inches at its widest point. There are 5 tiny white and 5 tiny light blue hearts placed on top and there are little dots that edge the large heart. The smaller white heart is approximately 2.2cm at its widest point and has a tiny lilac heart on it. Again, the heart is edged with little dots. Blue ribbon and a turquoise bead finish it off.
The hearts are attached to a silver-plated hook which is approximately 8.5cm long (just under 3.5 inches). This hooks over the spine of the book to hold your place, while the charm hangs on the outside.
The bookmark comes in an attractive organza bag and is carefully packaged, before being posted 1st class (via airmail if outside the UK). I try to reuse envelopes whenever possible.
PLEASE NOTE that polymer clay is not a toy and I do not recommend this item for young children due to small parts. Although polymer clay is perfectly suitable for its intended use, it is not indestructible!
