I used gorgeous white English porcelain to make this bowl and added a real leaf to each one to make each bowl unique. I mixed elements of classic and modern design with my own twist, because I wanted to make a little bird that would suit a wide range of interiors, from shabby chic, to mid-century vintage, to cool minimalism.

This little bird shaped white porcelain bowl has a flower in its eye and a real leaf imprint for a wing.
Keep it by the sink or bed and it will look after your rings and little things. Place a little tea light candle in it to light things up at night, or use it in your bathroom as a soap dish.
Each little bird is unique. Its features were individually stamped and its shape was formed by hand, by me. It is made from white porcelain clay and fired to stoneware temperature, so it is strong, despite its delicate form. Its pretty features are emphasized by the gorgeous glossy teal blue glaze which contrasts with the pale clay and emphasises the unique imprint of each leaf.
I hope that it will fit well in a range of interiors, from classic to modern, alongside mid century modern pieces as well as minimalist or shabby chic themes.
It measures approx 9 x 2.5cm in height (3.5 x 1 inches)

I made a couple of these, yours may vary very slightly as each uses a unique leaf. I promise that it will be extremely similar, and just as pretty!
