Fiddling around in my studio I was testing the compatibility of some recycled glass (not all glass fuses together in the kiln and will crack and fracture when heated up with glass that is not compatible). Instead of my usual test square I made a triangle shape, then thought oh Christmas Tree! My glass doodle came out very well and I popped another batch in the kiln yesterday. A very happy accident!

Because the little trees are made entirely from recycled glass these little trees are all different and totally unique and measure approx 6cm long. I have pieced together lovely scraps of art glass that would otherwise be thrown away and fused them together in my kiln Sold in packs of 3 and hung with strong transparent line they will look wonderful hanging on the tree or dangling in a window
