I bought the yarn, just because I liked the colour. Ponchos seem to be popular on the High Street at the moment, but they're mostly of the heavy cable or Fair Isle variety. This poncho could be worn over a dress on a Spring day, or as an extra layer in Autumn or Winter.

This is a beautiful, hand knitted lacy poncho, made by me from Rowan Kidsilk Haze yarn, which is a blend of mohair and silk.
