Full description
A paper garland Christmas decoration created from old unwanted books. I use a selection of books, from old children's stories, to Dickens, to romance and spy novels.
The handcut strips showl illustrations along with fragments of the text. The paper is aged a soft cream colour, and I have teamed this with rich red jute twine for a wonderful warm Yuletide look.
The layered strips catch the light and glow wonderfully against a window or a lamp, and will add a literary touch to your home!
The garland is 8 feet long, or about 4 yards/4 metres. It features 16 paper lantern shapes, which is twice as many as my other garlands.
