Each one is unique due to the natural variations in the wood. Depending on availability it may be made from different thicknesses, different age and surface finishes if you have a particular preference then be sure to let me know when ordering. Normally the original wood is quite dark, you may prefer to leave some if this or for me to sand it all back. When I sand all the way back to pale wood, it can be left unfinished - this will gradually darken over time to a an amber glow after a year or two. Alternatively it can be finished in a natural clear matt varnish to better preserve the pale greyish colour. or if you prefer, i can treat it with Danish (Tung) oil or beeswax to give it a real deep warm glow. Please send me a note about finishes when you checkout.

Full description
This stand supports an iPad or similar tablet in either one of two positions. On the one side, the tablet will sit at 15 degrees - this is ideal when its on the shelf like a photo frame, displaying video or streaming music to your stereo. on the other side, it will support is at 45 degrees - this is ideal for when you are reading off it sitting in bed or if you are cooking and you have a recipe displayed on the screen. It has rubber feet underneath to ensure it is properly stable in use. It is screwed and glued together to ensure it is completely robust.
