My son fell in love with the meerkats on TV, he wanted one to take with him so a small cute almost pocket sized meerkat was born.

I am happy to list my instructions for crocheting your own Meerkat. It only uses Double Crochet (single crochet if usa) so one stitch makes this fairly simple.
As it is only 15cm its a great way to use up leftover / scrap yarn.
Make a small house trained pet and once you've finished you can make them a friend or make one as gift for your friend!
The pattern uses double knitting yarn with a 3.5-4mm hook.
You will need to know how to:
ch - chain
tog - crochet 2 together
sc - single crochet US (UK double crochet)
