Cute brooches to brighten up your sweater, cardigan, blouse or coat, would also look great on a hat , bag or scarf. I got the inspiration to make them from a film I saw set in the 1940s - 1950s, one of the characters was wearing a similar style brooch on her sweater. I made them with 2 suffolk puffs and folded the green check material to make the leaves, then finished them with button centres. Approx size 3.1/2"" with a firmly sewn safety brooch bar at the back., 100% cotton.
