To order your nameplate with your name on it first send a question with the spelling of the name and I can send back a rough idea of what it will look like..if happy then place an order with the name in the PayPal instruction request box.
Please note that these are hand made to order bespoke items and will vary from name plate to name plate and the intital design I send you is computer generated and can only be used as a rough guide. The lettering will vary from name to name
But of course you can also have your own name on these for personal door name plate use as with all of our name plate designs.
On sale is a CR Mackintosh / Glasgow Style Lettering Pewter, Door Name Plate, with a George Logan Glasgow rose motif.
These Pewter name plates are suitable for use in apartments, flats, internal doors behind storm doors, sheltered locations, Horse stable doors and exterior positions,
The decorative motifs are George Logan Glasgow style roses.
The hand worked lettering is also in the famous Mackintosh/ Glasgow style
They are all hand created using the age old techniques of Repoussé and chasing on soft pewter sheet.
the pewter is supported by a modern lightweight material which meets all International Standards, and is water/damp proof and fire proof.
The process of hand lettering and hand Repoussé and chasing gives each name plate a unique appearance.
These name plates are hand made in my Studio in Glasgow City Centre, Scotland
Please note that these are hand worked pieces, will have slight variations and little imperfections that add to the unique quality of polished pewter.
Many pewter pieces these days are either, pressed in machines or cast from moulds giving them a mechanical appearance
They can be attached by screws to the door, 4 screws will be included
My name plates are completely hand made and take time so assume delivery of about 14 days maximum delivery in the UK from date of order .
