Full description
These earrings are made with two gorgeous apatite briolettes, and are fascinating to look at! They have been carefully wrapped with sterling silver wire, and then oxidised and carefully polished by hand to bring out some silvery highlights. The sterling silver earring wires are handmade by me.
The apatite briolettes have a wonderful shape to them - they are so adorable and round! They are not flawless gems; but this is natural for apatite and certainly gives them a lot of character. The colour is vibrant and unusual, a very pretty turquoise blue/green, and the colour really pops in the light!
These gems really capture the spirit of a wild and raging sea - I love them!
Apatite briolettes measure approximately 7mm (width) x 8mm (height)
Total earring length measures 26mm or just over 1 inch, and all silver used is sterling silver.
