Whilst rummaging through the scrap box I found a perfect colour combination to make this robin. The rest as they say wrote its self!

Full description
Festive Robin brooch made using a combination of machine embroidery and applique.
The robin is made from scraps of 1950's floral cotton dress fabric, silk dupion and contrast threads.
The base is made from stitched layers of wool felt, with a silver brooch fastening on the back.
The brooch measures approx. 1.5" by 2.5".
Each brooch is slightly different. If you see one in the group photo that you especially like send me a message and i'll send that one flying your way.
