Hopkins Penguin is learning to swim today.
This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Hopkins Penguin and life preserver. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you make your own little friends.
Please note that this is not a listing for a finished item. This listing is for the knitting patterns only.
The pattern is 10 pages and written so it is easier for beginners to follow, with lots of photos and instructions for making the finished toys. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increases, decreases, short rows (step by step instructions are included in the pattern to help you), changing colours & intarsia knitting.
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles, and the penguin uses less than 50g each of black, white and orange wool. The finished penguin is 9cm tall.
The patterns will be emailed to you in pdf format and I endeavour to send your pattern to you within 24 hours of cleared payment. Payment needs to be made within 3 days of purchase. Please note that patterns will be emailed to the e-mail address you hold with paypal, so please let me know if you want them sent to a different email address.
If you wish to pay by cheque, please contact me before purchasing.
