Instead of wrapping your present in gift wrap paper why not add another dimension to your present by putting it in a beautiful handmade box. You will then be giving two gifts! The box can be used by the recipient as a keep sake box for precious mementoes; as a storage box for hair accessories, make-up, jewellery, sewing threads and needles, small scissors, pot pourie, the list is endless. Alternatively this beautiful box could be a present in itself and make a lovely addition to any room.

The gift box is 7cm high, 7cm wide and 5cm deep at the base tapering to 3cm at the top. I hope the fabric colours and pattern speak for themselves as it’s very difficult to describe such beautiful batic fabrics. The edges of the box have been finished with variegated wool. The inside of the box is matching pink felt. The box closes on the front by means of a popper. A hand made silk bead embellishes the front.

This is a sturdy little box and whilst the box should not fade it is advised not to be kept in direct sunlight.
