Full description
A pack of greetings cards hand-printed by me on my Japanese Gocco printing press. This is a technique similar to screenprinting.
Printed in eleven colours, this was a rather ambitious Gocco project, and for that reason did not turn out according to plan. Undaunted by this, I have painstakingly re-touched all the cards with soft colouring pencils and the result is pleasing; looking rather like a lithographically printed children’s book from the 1950s.
A6 sized and printed on cardstock of approximately 240gsm
Your pack will contain four cards printed on a mixture of white, cream and ivory backgrounds. Please note that only the background colour differs and all cards carry the same design, though due to the nature of the process used, there will be slight variation in the images.
They will come with ribbed brown envelopes, cello-wrapped in a decorative pack, and be shipped to you in a padded envelope by First Class post.
For environmental reasons, I try to re-use old padded envelopes whenever possible. If the presentation of your package is important, please let me know when you order, and I will ensure that a new one is used.
