This handmade notebook is made from a rescued copy of ‘Noddy Gets into Trouble’ by Enid Blyton. This book was obviously well-loved by its previous owner who had enjoyed using crayons inside....
We have transformed this lovely children’s book into a great upcycled notebook. The inside pages are of lined paper which was rescued from unwanted school jotters. The lines are of the kind that children use to learn to write.
A few pictures from the original book have been saved and included in the notebook. Each notebook has 48 pages (96 sides) of this paper. They are hand sewn with a pale yellow waxed linen thread.
Do bear in mind that the covers and stories come from an original, pre-loved Noddy book and therefore will show some signs of use. We think this adds to the charm of this lovely journal.
This notebook is great to bring back childhood memories, to doodle and draw, to dream and muse and even to practise calligraphy. It would make a lovely gift for a fan of Noddy or Enid Blyton.
