This cute little bag is full of misty woodland magic. It makes a gorgeous gift bag, and will also look gorgeous storing bits and bobs around the home. What lovelier way to surprise family and friends with a little mushroom bag full of biscuits, sweets or home-made jam?
I love the spotty toadstools that adorn this bag, and they go perfectly with this cute dotty fabric I found in earthy shades. I have appliqued these gorgeous cotton fabrics onto brown tweed using shimmery silver thread.
The bag is lined with natural cream calico, and I have made the little handles out of the dotty fabric too.
The bag measures approximately 16cm high by 13cm wide when it is sitting naturally. I have designed and made my gift bags to have a flat bottom to accomodate gifts such as jars of chutney and boxes of delicious tea. So they will hold all manner of delicious and/or cute presents.
(The jar of damson jam in the photographs is 9.5cm high and 8cm in diameter and fits onto the bag beautifully. The jam is not included in the sale. It was made by my mum and belongs in my tummy!)
