Full description
Wonderful highly polished pure silver (99.9%) fern leaf brooch made from a real fern leaf from the Lincolnshire woods. This is coated in many layers of fine silver paste, and kiln fired. The original leaf burns away in the kiln leaving a perfect replica in silver. The silver weight is 5.7g and the measurements are 48mm x 17mm at widest point. I've oxidised the leaf to accentuate the vein structure and hand polished the surface to bring out the shine.
