Full description
These bowls were thrown on my potter's wheel from a buff stoneware clay. During the throwing process the rim was rolled over. This rolled rim not only adds to the strength it also gives the bowls a more homely appearance. The glaze is a rich oatmeal colour on the inside and outside. The bowls are 13cm in diameter and 6cm high and have a capacity of approximately 300ml. The bowls were fired to over 1200 degrees celsius and are therefore oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. The glazes used are all food safe. The price shown is for one bowl however if you wish to order more than this please contact me as I may have more in stock. Please note that the bowl in the photograph may not be the exact bowl that you receive, howver it will be very similar. It can take quite a while from first throwing a bowl in clay to having a finished product. This is due to the drying times, glazing and two firings that are necessary when making these pots. Please allow up to four weeks from ordering your bowls to receiving them. If I have the bowls in stock, I'll deliver almost immediately.
