I designed this first as a father's day card (it has the words added for that). I think there are certain animals that work well for fathers - gorilla, penguin, lion and polar bear - which wouldn't work so well for Mother's Day (which I've got hen and kangaroo for)... Perhaps not many mothers would want to be told they look like a gorilla!
