Full description
This fine silver Blackberry leaf brooch has clusters of garnets and hematite beads to represent the berries. The leaves were made from recycled silver and a real blackberry leaf was used to make the mold in which the leaf was formed. The beads have been strung together in berries which move slightly on the brooch. The garnet berries have a transparent juicy blackberry colour while the hematite beads have a surface metalic sheen.
This brooch has been hallmarked on the reverse by the London Assay Office with the makers mark, the standard hallmarks for fine silver and the date letter for 2011
