I love the prints and colours on cards and wrapping from the 1950's and 60's and I wanted to find a way to use them and display them year after year.

This christmas bunting is made by printing vintage christmas cards onto cotton and then backing them with vintage damask.
The bunting is made by printing images from 1950's and 60's Christmas cards onto either. The images are then backed with vintage damask, stitched with a red, contrasting thread and then trimmed with a pinked edge.
Vintage Christmas bunting is sewn to red cotton tape and comes ready to hang. The flags on each string are all different - no two pictures will be the same - on average they measure about 9.5cm x 14cm. The cards are all beautiful and the colours and subject matter are filled with nostalgia. The bunting is for indoor use only.
The bunting is 2 metres long. I measured things around my house and found this was just right for a chimney breast, mantlepiece, window or alcove! Of course I can make it any length so if you need something specific just let me know.
