ZENITH - colours of the night skies
A striking scarf in purple and green, blended with a rich blue and a cute flower motif added. The scarf measures 10 cm wide and 200 cm long.
I have knit this scarf using a blend of hand-dyed merino wool and silk (fair trade) - lightweight yet warm and cosy. It is very soft and does not scratch your skin. I have several scarves in my shop and each scarf is uniquely created with some amazing colours.
The yarn is supplied by Manos del Uruguay, a fair trade organisation, which helps women in rural communities to achieve economic independance. Each scarf will be supplied with a label, signed by the woman who dyed the yarn, proof of origin - a nice touch, I think.
Please note that the scarf should be hand washed and dried flat. It may lenghen with wear.
