An A3 size (41 x 29 cm or 16.5 x 11.7 inches) print of Lucy's colourful & summery 'Home Sweet Home' Illustration. The image is of a gorgeous wooden bird-house complete with white picket fence, perched on a branch. Above the house is a polka dot, ribbon banner with blue birds on with the words 'Home Sweet Home'.
The illustration is printed onto high quality textured fine art paper, which brings out the vivid colours and details in the image and gives it a tactile quality.
This artwork can be tacked straight up onto a wall to add instant colour or framed and hung to create an eye-catching feature in a room. It's ideal for a workspace, living room or bedroom and it also makes an wonderful present especially for a house warming.
SHIPPING: A3 prints will be shipped in a poster tube to ensure they reach you in the best condition, therefore a discount cannot be given on postage when shipping with different items. If ordering additional prints a discount will be given on postage as multiple prints can be put into 1 tube. Print will be sent 1st class
How Lucy created this artwork:
1. The bird house and branches were drawn free hand in pencil onto a sheet of white paper.
2. The pencil drawing was traced in black fine-liner onto tracing paper.
3. This image was then scanned onto a computer and the black outline was refined (which took flipping ages).
4. The leaves were created in the same way as above, then cut and pasted onto the branches.
5. Colour, texture and wood-grain pattern were added and the banner was created.
