I've made a beautifully individual heart garland, using Cath Kidston's ever popular green paisley for the central heart.
The garland has three hearts, one large and two smaller ones. Each of the red gingham hearts that flank the paisley heart is topped with a pretty mother of pearl button from my vintage collection. The hearts are hung on raffia, and each is backed with felt for a neat finish. There's a lot of work in this - it's a stunning, unique item.
This is a perfect touch for a shabby chic home, and definitely an individually made item that will draw comments.
